Elektronische Bauelemente Gesellschaft (EBG) is one of the leading international manufacturers of resistors for high-performance electronics. These technologically demanding components contribute to the safe and efficient conversion and transmission of energy. In this way, they play an integral role in more efficient power drives and in the steadily growing use of renewable energy sources. Among other things, EBG’s resistors are used in electric power drives of high-speed trains, frequency converters in wind turbines, aeronautical applications, or HVDC power transmission systems.
EBG’s headquarters are located in Kirchbach/Styria, Austria. In addition, we have operations in Europe, America and Asia.
Since 2010, EBG has been a part of the international Miba Group with its headquarters in Upper Austria.
EBG, a leading international manufacturer of resistors for high-performance electronics and part of the Miba Group, has a new site in St. Stefan since October 2015. The first production steps involved in manufacturing resistors (screen printing and sintering) will now be conducted in the new production site, freeing up space in Kirchbach. A significant increase in efficiency is also expected along with the expansion of the production area. We will continue to be available to our customers and suppliers at our headquarters in Kirchbach.
